Composite boards are fantastic for performance but are susceptible to some damage if used heavy handily. Most solid SUPs use a construction method that involve the use of an EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) or EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) foam. The Foam is then wrapped in composite construction. Most inflatable paddle board packages include a repair/service kit. These kits usually include a valve spanner and some colour matched PVC patches. A valve spanner is used to tighten or loosen your board valve.
